Cayenne red pepper is uniformly ground from dried powder of brownish-red to red Capsicum frutescens L. chili pepper. It has a warm, peppery and acrid aroma and an intensely pungent flavor with a biting hot, sharp and cumulative lingering effect.

STORAGE
To preserve natural flavor, store in a cool, dry area in sealed containers for shelf life of up to 18 months from date of manufucture without loss of flavor and/or functionality.
