Karlsburger® Xtra-Fine Shrimp Base is derived from cooking fresh shrimp meat and various seasonings. The product is concentrated to form a smooth paste-like substance. The product is soluble in water. Bright orange tan colored paste with a fresh shrimp flavor.
USAGE
- Soups, Sauces, or Entrees
- Enhance recipes with a shrimp flavor
PREPARATION
Add base to boiling water, stir to dissolve.
4 ounces base / 5 quarts water
8 ounces base / 2.5 gallons water
1 pound base / 5 gallons water
STORAGE
To preserve natural flavor, refrigerate after opening. Store in a cool, dry area for shelf life of up to one (1) year without loss of flavor.
