Klassic Beef Gravy

8 oz Butter (or Beef Drippings) |
6 oz All Purpose Flour |
2 oz Cornstarch |
1 gal Hot Water |
3 1/2 oz Xtra-Fine Beef Base |
1/4 Cup Gravy Bouquet |
INSTRUCTIONS
In a heavy 8 quart sauce pan, melt butter over medium heat. Blend in flour and corn starch using a wire whip. Stir until well blended, evenly cooked and bubbly; about 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in water, Karlsburger Beef Base and Gravy Bouquet. Heat to boiling over medium heat, stirring frequently. Boil and stir one minute. Serve hot.
Yield: One gallon or approximately 64 – 2 oz servings.
