|1 lb. Ground Beef|
|1/4 cup Chili Powder Dark|
|1 Onion, Diced|
|1 Tbsp Xtra-Fine Beef Base|
|1/2 tsp Xtra-Fine Chipotle Base|
|2 1/2 cups Warm Water|
|1-15oz can Tomato Sauce|
|1-14.5oz can Crushed Tomatoes|
|1 1/2 Tbsp Tomato Paste|
|4-15oz cans Beans (Black, Pinto, Northern, Kidney, or Butter), Drained and Rinsed|
|1 tsp Garlic, Granulated|
|1 tsp Cumin, Ground|
|1/2 tsp Black Pepper Restaurant|
|1 Tbsp Sugar|
Brown ground beef in Dutch oven over medium high heat. Sprinkle chili powder on the beef while browning.
Stir in onions and cook until ground beef is fully browned. Drain fat from pan if needed.
Whisk Karlsburger bases into warm water until dissolved.
Add broth, tomato products and beans to beef mixture.
Add granulated garlic, cumin, black pepper and sugar.
Bring mixture to a simmer.
Cover the pot and simmer to develop flavors, 15 minutes or up to an hour.
Salt content may be increased with addition of one teaspoon of Karlsburger Beef Base.
Garnish with sour cream, shredded Cheddar cheese or soup crackers.
