Whole cloves are the rich, brown, dried, unopened flower buds of Syzygium aromaticum, an evergreen tree in the myrtle family. Whole cloves are primarily used to stud ham or pork roast. Cloves can also be used to make lovely, long-lasting, scented pomander balls.

STORAGE
To preserve natural flavor, store in a cool, dry area in sealed containers for shelf life of up to 18 months from date of manufucture without loss of flavor and/or functionality.
