Karlsburger® Xtra-Fine Mirepoix Base is a concentrated blend of carrots, onions, and celery with no added MSG. This paste-like product consists of finely ground vegetables, is soluble in water and has a light golden color.
USAGE
- Stocks, Soups, Stews, or Sauces
- Braising liquid stock
PREPARATION
Add base to boiling water, stir to dissolve.
4 ounces base / 5 quarts water
8 ounces base / 2.5 gallons water
1 pound base / 5 gallons water
STORAGE
To preserve natural flavor, refrigerate after opening. Store in a cool, dry area for shelf life of up to one (1) year without loss of flavor.
