White Pepper, Ground
Product Description
Ground from the dried, immature berries of Piper nigrum L., from which the out and inner coverings have been removed. Use white pepper for a light-colored food or sauce for aesthetic reasons. A tarnish-white powder, with a taste similar to black pepper, but less pungent or harsh; has a somewhat musty flavor.
