Recipe Description
Sauce Robert is a brown mustard sauce and one of the mother sauces.Ingredients & Instructions
Ingredients:- 2 Tbs. Butter
- 1 c. Onions, minced fine
- ½ c. White Wine
- 2 tsp. Karlsburger Mustard Powder
- 4 c. prepared Karlsburger Veal Demi Glace
Cooking Instructions:
In a sauce pan, over medium heat, melt butter, add onions and sauté for 1 minute. Add wine, bring to a boil, and cook for 2 minutes. Add the Karlsburger Mustard Powder and stir in the Karlsburger Veal Demi Glace Reduce heat to a medium low and simmer for approx. 30 minutes. Pronounced (roh-bare). This is a variation of a classis French brown sauce. This sauce tastes best on pork, but can also be used for roasts, broiled beef or chicken, turkey or any grilled and hot meats.
