Pumpkin & Crab BisqueIngredients & Instructions
Ingredients:- 2 qts. Water
- 1/3 c. Karlsburger Crab Base
- 2 tsp. Karlsburger Shrimp and Crab Boil Seasoning
- ½ tsp. Tabassco
- ¼ tsp. Karlsburger Ground White Pepper
- 1/8 tsp. Ground Mace
- 3 c. Half and Half Cream
- 1 1/3 c. Lumped Crab Meat
- 1 c. Pumpkin, canned unseasoned, solid packed
- 1/3 c. Dry Sherry
- 1 Tbs. Slivered Almonds, crumbled
- 2 c. Butternut Squash, cooked, medium diced
- 1 1/3 c. Lobster, cooked, medium diced
- 2 Tbs. Fresh Parsley, chopped
Cooking Instructions:
In an 8 qt. sauce pan, combine water, Karlsburger Crab Base Karlsburger Shrimp and Crab Boil Seasoning tobassco, Karlsburger Ground White Pepper and Mace; mix well with a wire whip. Heat to boiling over medium high heat for 1-2 minutes. Add cream crab meat, pumpkin, sherry and almonds; mix well. Reduce heat and gently boil 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add squash, lobster and parsley. Gently boil 1 minute, stirring occasionally. Yield: 21 6 oz. servings or 1 Gallon.
