Parmesan and Blue Cheese ToastsIngredients & Instructions
Ingredients:- 1 c. Mayonnaise
- 1 Tbs. Karlsburger Roasted Garlic Base
- ½ tsp. Karlsburger Black Café Pepper
- 1/8 tsp. Karlsburger Cayenne Red Pepper
- 1 ½ c. freshly grated parmesan cheese (approx. 5 oz.)
- ¾ c. finely crumbled blue cheese (approx. 3 oz)
- 28 1/3” thick bread slices cut from sourdough baguette bread
- Olive Oil
- ¾ c. Green Onions, finely chopped
Cooking Instructions:
Combine mayonnaise, Karlsburger Roasted Garlic Base and Peppers in a medium bowl- stir together thoroughly. Mix in cheese and stir until well incorporated. (can be made two days prior, Cover and keep in fridge) Preheat oven to 400. Brush one side of each bread slice with oil. Place oiled side down on large rimmed baking sheet. Bake bread slices to almost golden, approx 5 minutes. Remove from oven, spread 1 generous tablespoon of cheese mixture onto each bread slice, and place back on sheet. Bake until cheese starts to bubble and toasts are golden brown on edges. Approx 10 minutes. Remove from oven, top with a few green onions and serve warm.
