Karlsburger Chicken Noodle SoupIngredients & Instructions
Ingredients:- 2 oz. Margarine or Butter
- 8 oz. Onions, small diced
- 8 oz. Carrots, sliced 1/8” thick
- 4 oz. Celery, sliced 1/8” thick
- 3 ½ qts. Hot Water
- 4 oz. Karlsburger Chicken Base
- 8 oz. Medium Egg Noodles, uncooked
- 1 lb. Cooked Chicken, small diced
Cooking Instructions:
In a heavy 8 qt. sauce pan, melt margarine or butter over medium heat. Stir in onions, carrots and celery. Saute 5 minutes. Stir in water, Karlsburger Chicken Base and noodles. Heat to boiling; stirring frequently. Reduce heat and gently boil until noodles are tender, approx. 8-10 minutes. Add chicken and continue boiling gently for 3-5 minutes; stirring occasionally. Serve hot, garnished with chopped fresh parsley. Yield: 1 gal. 2c. or approx. 24 – 6 oz. servings.
