Creamy Chicken FlorentineIngredients & Instructions
Ingredients:- 8 oz. Margarine or Butter
- 8 oz. All Purpose Flour
- 3 ¼ qts. Hot Water
- 4 ½ oz. Karlsburger Chicken Base
- 12 oz. Cooked Chicken, medium diced
- 5 oz. Frozen Spinach, chopped
- 3 oz. Pimiento, small diced
- ¼ tsp. Karlsburger Ground Nutmeg
- 2 c. Half & Half Cream, hot
Cooking Instructions:
In a heavy 8 qt. sauce pan, melt margarine or butter over medium heat. Blend in four using wire whip. Stir over medium heat until well blended, evenly cooked and bubbly; about 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in remaining ingredients and heat to boiling. Reduce heat and gently boil 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve hot, garnished with julienne of pimiento or seasoned croutons. Yield: 1 ¼ Gallons or approx. 26 6 oz. servings.
