Recipe Description

Fresh spring vegetables sauteed to bring out their natural flavors, then seasoned with Karlsburger Gravy Bouquet.

Ingredients & Instructions

*1 lb. beef stew meat or roast, cut into small wedges
*1 tbsp. olive oil
*1 lg. onion, chopped
*1 c. sliced carrots
*1 c. sliced celery
*2 c. potatoes, cut into wedges
*1 1/2 to 2 qts. water
*Salt and Pepper to taste
*1 1/2 to 2 tbsp. cornstarch
*2 tbsp. Karlsburger Gravy Bouquet
Brown meat and onions in olive oil. Add carrots, celery, onion and potatoes. Add water, salt and pepper. Cook on medium heat, stirring occasionally, approximately 2 to 2 1/2 hours. Add Karlsburger Gravy Bouquet Mix cornstarch in small glass of water until dissolved, pour into beef stew and cook until thickened as desired.
