Recipe Description
Alfredo Sauce Suggestions - Not just for Fettuccine anymore!Ingredients & Instructions
Ingredients:- 3 qts. Water
- 1 16 oz. Bag Karlsburger Alfredo Sauce Mix
- 1 lb. Butter
- 16 oz. Parmesan Cheese
Cooking Instructions:
In a large pot, bring 3 quarts of water to a boil. Blend Karlsburger Alfredo Sauce Mix into 1 qt. of luke warm water. Slowly Whip mixture into the 3 quarts of boiling water. Simmer until thick and smooth. Add 1 lb. butter. Allow to melt and blend in. Blend in 16 ounces of Parmesan or your favorite cheese.

Cajun Chicken Pasta
Julienne and season 4 ounces of boneless chicken breasts. Saute in olive oil until all sides are seared. Add 2 ounces of Andouille or Chorizo sausage medallions and saute for 2 minutes. Add 1 ounce of each of the following: julienne red onion, sliced mushrooms and pea pods. Saute until vegetables are cooked but still crisp. Add 6 ounces of prepared Karlsburger Alfredo Sauce. Toss evenly and add 8 ounces of al dente penne pasta. Bring to a simmer. Plate and serve.
Fresh Salmon & Leek
Cut 6 ounces of salmon into 1" cubes. Cut leek into 1/8" slices. Wash and drain. Saute salmon in olive oil until seared on all sides. Add 2 tablespoons of cut and washed leek. Continue to saute for 2 minutes. Deglaze pan with 1/4 cup white wine and reduce by 50\\\%. Add 6 ounces of prepared Karlsburger Alfredo Sauce. Toss evenly and add 8 ounces of al dente' bowtie pasta. Bring to a simmer. Plate and serve. Garnish with fresh leek.
Mediterranean Chicken Pasta
Saute 4 ounces of julienne chicken breast seasoned with Karlsburger Jerk Seasoning and 1/4 cup dices zucchini in olive oil until all sides are seared. Add 4 ounces of tomato concasse and continue to saute for 2 minutes. Add 1/2 tablespoon capers, 1/4 cup sliced black olives and 1/2 cup canned artichoke hearts. Add 6 ounces of prepared Karlsburger Alfredo Sauce and 8 ounces of al dente vermicelli. Bring to a simmer. Plate and serve. Garnish with fresh oregano or thyme.
Spinach Tortellini with Gorgonzola
Saute 8 ounces of blanched spinach tortellini in olive oil until heated through. Add 6 ounces of Karlsburger Alfredo Sauce and 2 ounces of crumbled gorgonzola cheese. Bring to a simmer and reduce heat to low for 2 to 3 minutes; stirring frequently. Pour onto oven-proof platter. Sprinkle 1 ounce of walnuts over the top and bake for 6-8 minutes at 350°F. Place platter on liner and serve.
Pork Medallions with Angel Hair Pasta
Steep 4 medium morel mushrooms in simmering water. Remove and chill. Lightly roll 6 ounces of pork tenderloin in cracked black pepper. Slice into 1/2" medallions. Saute medallions and morels in butter until pork is seared on both sides. Add 6 ounces of prepared Karlsburger Alfredo Sauce. Add 8 ounces of al dente angel hair and bring to a simmer. Plate and serve.
